It is not possible to receive and manipulate a dental CT scan directly by mobile messages due to the weight of the file and the absence of native visualization tools for the generated format. The dental CT scan is exported in DICOM format, constructed from multiple frames captured in a 360-degree rotation around the patient. As it is not a conventional static image, but a dynamic volume, the size of the file makes sending by channels ofmessages not feasible.
In addition to the transfer limitation, ordinary cell phones cannot open or manipulate this type of data. Diagnostic interpretation requires dedicated CT scan visualization and 3D reconstruction software. This program allows you to navigate cut by cut through the layers of the tomographic image, ensuring the visualization in high quality and in a 1:1 ratio of the patient's three-dimensional anatomical structures
