Although clinical and diagnostic technology remains essential in modern dentistry, one of the most important structural shifts in the profession is the adoption of a more strategic approach to CRM, or Customer Relationship Management. CRM should not be viewed simply as software, but as an ongoing methodology for managing and strengthening patient relationships.
At the center of this transformation is the ability to use patient information more effectively. Dental practices already collect a significant amount of information about the people they serve. However, much of that knowledge often remains in the dentist’s memory or is scattered across different members of the team rather than being systematically documented and organized.
